Powstało 5 filmów, pełnometrażowych animacji w świecie Futuramy, Benders Game jest 3cim.

Benders Game jest genialny. Dawno się tak nie uśmiałem. Humor trafi zapewne do każdego kto grał w rpg / czytał "Władcę pierścieni"(jest też drobna, ale genialna, wstawka Star Warsowa !).
Poniekąd znajomość futuramy pomaga zrozumieć pierwszą część filmu (obejrzenie 1 i 2 sezonu).
Ale ostatnie 40 minut dziejących się w realiach "fantasy" jest tak czy inaczej powalające.

Futurama jest trochę bardziej agresywna w swych żartach niż Simpsonowie. Jest też powiewem świeżości dla Simpsonów, wciąż tworzona przez Mata Groeninga.


Gary Gygax (twórca gier rpg) pojawia się jako postać po raz pierwszy w ostatnim odcinku drugiego sezonu, odć 20 - "Anthology of interest". (w spec-zespole prezydenta USA Ala Gore, z Deep Blue i Stewenem Hawkingiem).

"Futurama: Bender's Game is the third of the four direct-to-DVD Futurama films that make up the show's fifth season. It was released on November 4, 2008 on DVD and Blu-Ray.

According to the Beast with a Billion Backs commentary, the idea to spoof Dungeons and Dragons and the death of its creator, E. Gary Gygax, happened at around the same time, but are coincidences. The film is dedicated to Gygax, and contains a post-credits scene featuring his appearance in the episode "Anthology of Interest I". The title of the film is also a pun on the book Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card."
